About the Role
Company is seeking highly detail-oriented Data Refinement Specialists to support a large-scale ITN Speech Collection and Annotation project. The role focuses heavily on quality assurance (QA) and rework related to ITN-tagged utterances across 10 ITN categories.
This position is ideal for individuals with strong linguistic intuition, excellent written-language skills, and experience in text normalization, speech datasets, or linguistic QA.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and refine utterances containing digit spans, ensuring each is rewritten into spoken form based on locale-specific guidelines.
- Review and correct utterances for accuracy, grammar, naturalness, fluency, and appropriateness for native speakers.
Your QA duties include
- Identifying incorrect ITN category assignments and fixing them.
- Ensuring all digit-containing spans are accurately rewritten in spelled-out spoken form.
- Performing rework on utterances flagged during QA checks.
- Verifying that fixes follow client guidelines and language-native expectations.
- Providing justification for changes when needed.
