About the Job
Company is seeking native English (Singapore) speakers to join an audio annotation project designed to improve voice recognition technology.
The goal of this project is to accurately identify and label conversational events within recorded audio files to help train and evaluate advanced speech recognition models. Each recording features a User interacting with Siri (or another speaker impersonating the assistant). These interactions typically include an initial request, a response from the assistant, and sometimes follow-up questions.
In approximately 45% of the recordings, a third individual (a “Bystander”) is present to introduce natural distractions, such as side comments or background speech. Recordings were captured in supervised environments and may include varying levels of background noise such as quiet settings, appliance noise, television audio, or music.
Your primary responsibility is to listen carefully to each recording and apply precise, time-stamped labels to identify who spoke and when according to detailed project guidelines. Accuracy and consistency are critical to the success of this work.
