Job Summary
Company is seeking a skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our team, responsible for accurately and efficiently transcribing outpatient department (OPD) prescriptions from healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of medical terminology.
Key Responsibilities
– Understand AI product and learn usage of product to automate Conversion
– Understand handwritten prescription, verify & Transcribe OPD prescriptions from handwritten notes with high accuracy
– Review and edit transcriptions for errors or inconsistencies
– Utilize medical terminology and knowledge to ensure accurate transcription
– Meet productivity and quality standards
– Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
– Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members as needed
Requirements
– Post-secondary certificate or diploma in Medical Transcription or related field
– 1-2 years of experience in medical transcription, preferably in OPD settings
– Strong typing skills (min. 60 wpm) and accuracy
