Role and Responsibilities
SSIR Foundry System SW Team in india owns software development for SOCs which are built using advanced FAB technologies like 2nm to 7nm having HW IPs (LPDDR5x,HBM3,HBM4,PCIe, MIPI-CSI, USB, Multimedia Codec Accelerators), Graphical Processors (Mali GPUs), General purpose processors (All ARM profiles, RISC-V). Software development of the team involves developing Firmware, Bootloaders, Linux/RTOS device drivers, Power/Peformance Optimizations for customer use case, Development of Firmware used for screening of Silicon in FAB process (SLT).
Required Skills
- System level understanding of ARM based SOC.
- Hands on experience in bare metal programming and firmware code development.
- Expert in LPDDR5 & HBM3 bring up in pre-silicon and post-silicon envirnoment.
- Working experience on Zebu Emulation.
- Very good understanding of caching, coherency, Interleaving and trustzone. .
- Working experience in post-silicon board bring up.
- Strong debugging skills based on trace32, waveform, verdi.
Good to Have Skills
- RISC-V based SOC architecture.
- Protocol knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C.
- Understanding of emulation transactors of low speed & high speed IPs
